Disco Stage
At the release party for their fourth album, Reflektor, Arcade Fire took the stage dozens of feet above the ground at the foot of the Capitol Records building in the heart of Hollywood. As a surprise to fans, the band was to perform on top of the Capitol Records building, and they needed a "disco stage" for the performance, on short notice. When Arcade Fire made the request, Goon was happy to oblige.
The stage was a giant LED screen that projected our looping video. We designed a grid of colored squares that resembled a 1970's disco ballroom and timed the animation to various tempos.
